We sure aren’t perfect, but we’re trying to do the right thing. It all sounds a bit Miss World, but we want to make things a little better for pet owners. Make eating out a happier experience for all of us, both man and dog.

We first conceived having our own pet café while we were in Hong Kong with Yuan Yuan, our pet Shih Tsu. We were having a great time shopping and chilling out together, just enjoying one another’s company.

However, when the time came for meals, we had to hunt high and low to find an eatery that allowed Yuan Yuan into the premises. The best we could manage was to dine al fresco while Yuan Yuan sulked on the pavement, watching us eat. The poor dear!

That didn’t seem quite right to us. We thought how nice it would be if there was a place that welcomed both pet owners and their pets, and which offered a menu for both parties. Being the agent of change that we are, we decided to start our very own pet café. Almost seven months on, Pawtobello opens our door to welcome pet owners and pets everywhere!
